Conversion for Manfrotto 405 and 410 Gear Heads, Plate and Plate/Clamp combinations available.

Combination of plate and clamp will let you use Manfrotto geared head with any arca swiss equipments. Manfrotto gear head is more precise than ball head and preferred by many photographers. Many architectural and interior photographers actually prefer geared 3-axis tripod heads rather than ball heads because they can make precision adjustments to each axis. Two popular heads are Manfrotto 405 and 410 which each use Manfrotto QR plate. Arca-Swiss plate fans can now bypass this.

The clamp can disconnected from the plate and be used independently on other equipment if needed. The clamp can be positioned in relation to adapter plate in 90 degree increments to make it convenient for everybody. Arca Swiss is the best quick release system for tripods and monopods. International standard dove-tail clamp, compatible with Arca-Swiss type quick release plates.

Adapter plate is attached to Manfrotto geared head in two simple steps.
1) Remove lock down level with provided 3 mm hex key.
2) Connect plate to geared head using one 1/4-20 screw and one 10-32 screw.
