This is a significant improvement over the Fuji standard foot.  The  hex keyed centre mounting bolt is more secure than the Fuji side mounted knob, the safety stop is a great addition, it has a QD connector which I consider essential, and the lower profile means that it can be left on the lens in my camera bag whereas the Fuji had to be attached each time I took the lens out of the bag. My fingers do fit under the foot, so it can be used as a carrying handle

It also fits the XF 500 f/5.6.  So I need another one.
