While this foot fits both classic models, please note that due to the compact nature of the shorter Canon EF 200mm f/1.8L body, the lens hood cannot be reversed for storage or transport while the foot is installed. However, it fits perfectly with the hood reversed on the 500mm f/4.5L lens.
