The Hejnar Photo Quick Release Foot Replacement is a precision‑machined Arca‑type foot designed specifically for the Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM super‑telephoto lens. It incorporates two stainless‑steel QD sockets for attaching standard push‑button QD mounts, providing secure strap attachment trusted by NASA, law enforcement, and military agencies.

Remove the original Canon foot and install the Hejnar replacement using the factory screws. If mounting screws loosen over time, applying Loctite 242 is recommended for added security.

This foot provides comfortable finger clearance under the lens, maintains full access to the focusing ring, and allows the hood to reverse for storage. The double‑dovetail design enables dual clamping surfaces for flexible positioning on Arca‑type rails and clamps.
