Product Description
The H121 replacement foot is the ideal upgrade for the Canon EF 200mm f/2L IS lens. By replacing the bulky factory foot with this sleek, low-profile Arca-Swiss compatible solution, you get a dramatically stiffer mount with less flex and reduced vibration. The double-dovetail profile serves as an invaluable asset, giving you a reliable secondary clamping surface on the top side of the rail to attach heavy-duty flash brackets or accessories.
Installation Instructions:
To remove your original factory foot, use the M3 hex key tool that comes included with the H121 to completely extract the four Canon mounting screws. To install the H121, simply use the four original Canon screws and secure the foot tightly to the lens collar.
Check the tightness of your components periodically. For long-term security in rugged outdoor conditions, consider applying a drop of Loctite 242 removable threadlocker to the screws.
Precision-machined in the USA from solid aircraft-grade aluminum, the H121 reduces your vertical profile height, making your massive portrait glass much easier to balance. Despite its low clearance, it provides enough room for your fingers under the lens to freely use the lens focusing ring, and a reversed lens hood will still fit perfectly between the foot and the lens body.
