Installation Instructions

  1. Slide the SFR-003 Lens Foot onto the lens and attach it using the enclosed 1/4-20 screw.
  2. Drive the screw in until you first meet resistance, then turn it about 30° farther to establish appropriate, but not excessive torque. Do not over tighten.
  3. Tighten the side set screw, then turn it about 30° farther to establish appropriate torque. Do not over tighten.

This lens foot is well crafted and fits perfectly. The arca-swiss dovetail fits nicely and the QD port is spot-on for my LumaLabs QD strap.

Having this foot "permanently" attached to the lens is actually a positive in my opinion. The lack of locking lever and tightening knob likely adds to the noticeable decrease in weight as compared to the OEM foot. Given the additional length of this foot the lens is easier and more comfortable to carry.

Mr. Hejnar includes the necessary hardware to attach/detach this foot. Kudos for that!

I love to support US made products, so I will absolutely be back for more items in the future. Highly recommended!
